The production team of Dream High is in the pre-production phase, with an aim of airing the series in January 2012.
They are currently in the process of writing up the script and will only begin casting when that is done. The KBS production representatives note that it is not conclusive yet whether they will extend the story that’s already established in the first season, or build a completely new story instead.
There is still no final word on whether or not the cast for Season 2 will be as star-studded as the last, with K-Pop idols like 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung, miss A’s Suzy, and IU getting major roles. However, there are reports that Key East Entertainment and JYP Entertainment will be joining forces again for Dream High 2, so there is a chance of seeing your favorite idol in the new series.
