The pocket-size book features the Arashi members traveling around Japan to rediscover, and navigate people through their home country. A larger version of the book was already given to various Japanese schools last August, but hasn’t been on sale until now. However, besides the size, the content of the two books is exactly the same.
Satoshi Ohno of Arashi attended the press conference of “Kaibutsu Kun (lit. Little monster)” on April 11. This is the first time for this manga of Fujiko Fujio A to be played by real person. It’s a story about the prince of the monster land, “Kaibutsu Kun” and his friends, Dracula, Wolfman, and Franken, come to the human world, encounter with Hiroshi and his sister Utako, and start to be aware of “What a king should be.”
As in the original work, Ohno who plays Kaibutsu-kun appears with a blue-red cap, “I was worried about my age at the beginning. I am about 30.” said Ohno with a wry smile, “But, after starting the shoot, I gradually feel at home. In this appearance, I feel rejuvenated. My hair is dyed into brown as well after two year absence.”
OMG! it’s been a while right?since their 28th single (“Everything”) was released and they will be finally releasing their 29th single “Troublemaker” this coming March!
The new single “Troublemaker” released under JStorm will be released (official, expected) this March 03, 2010. It features title song “troublemaker” which turned out to be the theme song of TBS’ Sunday Theater Drama “Tokujou Kabachi” 「特上カバチ」featuring arashi member Sho Sakurai and actress Horikita Maki. It has been just a rumor (it was not officially stated) that Arashi will be singing the theme song for this drama but now the wait is over! Arashi will indeed be singing the theme song for the said drama series. The other song entitled “Yurase, Ima wo (揺らせ、今を)” is Nihon TV’s theme song for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and Zoom In!! SUPER Saturday Winter Theme Song (sugooooii!! :D)

Arashi‘s album “All the BEST! 1999-2009” has just captured the crown for the highest sales of any album in 2009. The collection has now sold 1.240 million copies, barely passing Mr.Children’s “SUPERMARKET FANTASY.”
“All the BEST!” sold 753,000 copies in the first week after its release on August 19, setting this year’s record for first-week sales. Now, in its fifth week, it sold 40,000 more copies to push it past the 1.239 million total of Mr.Children’s album. That one, however, has been on sale for 41 weeks, starting in December 2008.
Arashi already holds this year’s current highest selling single (“Believe / Kumori Nochi, Kaisei” with 655,000 copies) and music DVD (“ARASHI AROUND ASIA 2008 in Tokyo” with 401,000 copies).

Woah!Arashi fighto! Really deserving boys T.T Arashi is love. This year is really rewarding for them achievement-wise. Please continue to make good music ^^
Stars often appear all over a network for a day to promote a new movie or album, but Johnny’s Jimusho idol group Arashi are to take over NTV for a whole week. The group are celebrating the 10th anniversaryof their debut in November. To mark the occasion, various members of the group will appear on an estimated 50 hours of programming during a seven-day period. They’ll make live appearances on the network’s most popular variety and news shows and will perform their hits during a special live concert. The final dates have yet to be announced.
With the members of fellow Johnny’s group SMAP now all into their 30’s, Arashi have a strong hold on the teenage and young adult fan base. But although they have a string of No.1 hits, it was only with the recent release of a greatest hits album, “All the Best, 1999-2009” that they had their first million seller. The upcoming “hijacking” of the NTV network is to show that they are now established as major stars and, perhaps more than anything else, make it clear to corporate sponsors that they are the group of the moment. The five members of Arashi have also maintained a clean image, unlike that of SMAP, which has become a little tarnished by incidents over the years. Arashi are Ohno Satoshi (28), Sakurai Sho (27), Aiba Masaki (26), Ninomiya Kazunari (26) and Matsumoto Jun (26).
Arashi ftw! ♥
