Lee Chunhee: “Please let me appear on Family Outing once.”

Earlier in the week on Ya Shim Man Man Season 2, Lee Chun Hee had recorded a video letter for PD Jang of Family Outing saying, “Even if I am only a guest, please let me appear on Family Outing once.” The following day on the 22nd, Lee Chun Hee said jokingly at the press conference of his new drama, “Really want to go and have some fun with the family.”

Seungri Comes to the Rescue! Replacing Daesung on Family Outing…

We all know about Daesung‘s very unfortunate accident and that he is recovering now (thank God ^^), with this comes the news that fellow Big Bang member Seungri will be replacing Daesung starting on the 24th for 1 night and 2 days on the hit variety show Family Outing!

Jang Hyuk Jae PD stated, “Seungri will be taking Daesung’s spot on the show for now. Honestly, we were just planning on filming without Daesung for now, but Seungri approached us and said he would fill in. We are extremely grateful for this, it’s really nice to see a Big Bang member helping out. But of course, it’s not a full family without Daesung.”

With the exception of Taeyang, all Big Bang members have appeared on the show.

Park Ye Jin and Lee Chun Hee Leave FO In Tears T__T

Lots of tears were shed, especially by Park Ye Jin and Lee Chun Hee as they officially left SBS Family Outing on 2nd June in their final recording. The family members of Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Hyori, Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Su Ro, Daesung, Kim Jong Kook, Park Ye Jin and Lee Chun Hee had been recording their final episode together as a family with a farewell tour concept in Hongcheon for the past 2 days.

Park Ye Jin and Lee Chun Hee will Indeed Leave Family Outing

The miracle didn’t quite happen as SBS made the much dreaded announcement that Park Ye Jin and Lee Chun Hee will indeed be leaving Family Outing. Replacing them will be Park Shi Yeon and Park Hae Jin, with discussions for their participation at the latter stages. SBS expressed, “Park Hae Jin and Park Shi Yeon are No.1 on our list, but it’s not confirmed as yet.” Just a matter of time, I guess. Park Hae Jin will be joining the filming of Family Outing in mid-June after concluding his Famous Princesses drama promotions in China. Park Shi Yeon will do likewise after finishing her drama filming of Story of a Man/The Slingshot in early June.

First Ye Jin, Now It’s Lee Chunhee to Leave Family Outing?

A flurry of updates had gone on throughout the day about the departure of Park Ye Jin and Lee Chun Hee from SBS Family Outing and their replacements (?), Park Shi Yeon and Park Hae Jin. As of now, there are conflicting reports everywhere and it looks like the Korean media are jumping the gun to get their reports out. Remember that variety shows were all cancelled over the weekend (continuing until 29th May)

As a mark of respect (for the death of veteran actress Yeo Woon Kye and former S.Korean president Roh Moo Hyun ) and because it’s not a good time for laughs, SBS will be cancelling most of its regular programming including Star King, Inkigayo, Family Outing, Gold Miss, etc this weekend. MBC will be doing likewise, with its Music Core and Infinity Challenge already cancelled this afternoon. KBS will also be canceling its variety programs on Sunday after getting criticism from all quarters for not cancelling its variety programs on Saturday. Special programs and movies will be aired instead.

and thus they were probably bored stiff, with nothing to write. But still, it looks like this will eventually become reality in the end. It’s inevitable when it comes to variety shows especially for actors but still sad to see it become reality.

Park Ye Jin Leaves SBS Family Outing

Inevitable when it comes to variety but still sad to see it become reality. Park Ye Jin’s management agency, BOF announced on the 25th that the Family Outing episode with Yoshihiro Akiyama (aka Choo Sung Hoon) which will be aired in 2 weeks time on 7th and 14th June will be her last. Ye Jin is sad that she has to leave Family Outing because she has developed so much feelings over it, the bonding with the other family members and the fact that it has made more people take notice of her after appearing in it for close to a year.

The decision to leave SBS Family Outing was because of the daily filming schedule for MBC’s Queen Seon Duk (debuting on 25th May), where she plays Princess Chun Myung. In addition, Park Ye Jin will also be filming for a movie which will start at the end of May concurrently. Previously, Ye Jin had taken on KBS2TV Hateful But Once Again together with Family Outing, which took a toll on her health and saw her falling sick.

There’s no further word from SBS as yet on how they will handle this but Park Ye Jin’s absence from Family Outing will be sorely missed in the long-term.

I guess if they decide to add in a new girl member in the family…it will be fine but definitely won’t be the same…
